Established in 1998 г.
Target groups: pupils, students, zoo visitors, NGOs, journalists, etc.
Main activities: Environmental and zoo education, reseach and conservation projects. Graphic design of originally developed materials and cage labels. Consultance and active help to university students during their reserch. EERC is the only zoo based environmental centre for education, research and conservation in Bulgaria - we conduct originally developed education programs during summer zoo schools, animal presentions. etc. We also organize conservation seminars and training workshops. We are involved in producing animal related films for the National Televizion as scriptwriters. We cooperate with many conservation NGOs in Bulgaria and on the Balkans. as also keep an active link with many zoos and education centres all over in and out of Europe. We are opened to any new cooperaction with interested partners in the field of education, research and conservation.
