Summary
Bulgarian Society for Biodiversity Conservation SEMPERVIVA is a non-governmental organization, founded in 1997. Main objective of its work is to conserve the diversity of rare and threatened local agricultural breeds and sorts. The Society has established the first Rescue Center for rare breeds in Vlahi village, Pirin Mountains in Bulgaria. The breeds there are preserved in their original type and natural habitat.
